NESCO hosted a lively City Council + School Board all-candidates forum
on September 20, propelled by 60+ East Siders sharing what's on our minds -
responsive government, affordable housing, inclusive
policies, data centers, zoning, taxes, traffic, and more....
Dive in to NESCO voting + representation and check out photos of the forum.
Voting is under way now and right up to Election Day, in person at City Hall and by mail-in ballot, so let's get busy picking leaders who'll do right by the NESCO neighborhood.

WELCOME TO NESCO
Welcome to the East Side - where 150 years of history add up to today’s lively and sociable neighborhood. Northfield East Side Community Organization (NESCO) acts to represent and advocate for our town's East Side interests. As a unified alliance of home owners and renters, a constituent of the City of Northfield, and the town-and-gown neighbor of Carleton College, NESCO engages in discussion and action about everything from tree planting to housing codes, transit routes to tax proposals, bikes lanes to land-code planning. Welcome.
“Community is not just about being together; it’s about doing life together.”
